During the first two months of 2011, the Hyundai Elantra came to demonstrate that the Korean automaker was serious when he decided to tackle the heavyweights of the compact class as are the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. In fact, only in February, the Elantra has been sold to Canadian consumers in 2820 compared with 2784 to 1975 for the Civic and Corolla. That in fact, all categories, the best-selling vehicle in Canada for the first two months. The new lines of Elantra, substantially improved, as well as fuel consumption which stands at 4.9 liters per 100 kilometers on the road are not foreign to the success of the Korean compact.
