China has already sold Volvo S80 L (elongated platform), but this seems not enough for this market.
Now the Shanghai Motor Show (19 April), Volvo will show a new concept, even more luxurious car. Limo will be made based on S80.


According to Germany's Auto Bild, the car will be called Volvo Universe. In series production, however, the model will be marketed as Volvo S100. This model will be a major coupe with four doors. With the new large luxury model, the Swedish brand with Chinese owners, wants to compete with cars like the Audi A7 Sportback, Mercedes-Benz CLS, and some models of BMW.

Since the end of 2010, S80 comes with a new engine - four-cylinder petrol engine, 2.0 liters of volume, from a family with EcoBoost power 149kW. So now Volvo S80 is available with three petrol and two diesel engines.
