With the Audi to work on e-tron version of the current generation A3, the first sketches of the next generation is here. The car will initially be available in three-door hatchback version and later will be available in both 5-Sportback and carry the 4-door Sedan intended mainly for the markets of China, Russia and America.

The car will be based on the Audi A3 concept which was unveiled in Geneva last report, wearing the 2.5-liter TFSI 408 hp engine performance.

The production car will be wearing a wide range of TSI and TDI engines from 1.200 cc to 2.000 cc yield 85 to 210 + hp. Of course there will be S and RS versions but will occur some years later. The car is expected to debut in 2012, probably at the Geneva Show next March, with sales starting in autumn 2012 as a 2013 model.
